About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a new college graduate to validate PCIe features on silicon. The role involves understanding design and implementation, defining validation scope, developing post-silicon verification infrastructure—including test plans, tests, and scripts to analyze data—and implementing test and coverage plans to validate design correctness. The engineer will use hands-on lab equipment and work cross-functionally with ASIC, software, and system teams.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a BS or MS in EE, ECE, CS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure to design and verification tools, such as VCS or equivalent simulation tools, and debug tools such as Debussy or GDB.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Perl.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with bus protocols such as PCI Express, SATA, or USB, or interconnect verification.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

  • Validate features on silicon using hands-on lab equipment, such as logic analyzers.
  • Understand the design and its implementation, and define the validation scope.
  • Develop post-silicon verification infrastructure, including test plans, tests, and scripts to analyze data.
  • Implement test and coverage plans and validate design correctness.
  • Work cross-functionally with ASIC, software, and system teams.
