PCB Quality Control Inspector
About The Position
Murrietta Circuits is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Quality Control Inspector to support our Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Manufacturing Department. This position is responsible for performing First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection of bare printed circuit boards to ensure compliance with IPC-A-600 standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience performing visual inspection of bare circuit boards and working within a manufacturing quality environment. This is an on-site position working Monday through Friday in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- IPC-A-600 Certification required or preferred
- Experience performing visual inspection of bare printed circuit boards
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and workmanship standards
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills required

- Quality inspection experience
- Aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing environment
- Experience with First Article Inspection and quality documentation
- AS9100 manufacturing environment experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection of bare printed circuit boards
- Inspect PCB products for compliance to IPC-A-600 standards and customer specifications
- Perform detailed visual inspection of circuit boards for workmanship defects and nonconforming conditions
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, travelers, and work instructions
- Verify product quality throughout various stages of manufacturing
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and report quality concerns and nonconforming material
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support manufacturing requirements
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
