The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design. We are looking for someone to apply their hardware design technical expertise, natural leadership, organizational skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact the bold missions at Blue Origin. As an Avionics PCB Librarian within this Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE) PCB design team, you will apply your understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, high-speed, RF and high-power PCB design and components to develop and maintain our company-wide eCAD parts library. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain corporate eCAD component libraries, including part footprints, schematic symbols and related component information Design and layout common circuit blocks to support high-performance, high-reliability PCBs development for aerospace applications Work with Altium Designer to create detailed PCB layout design files from schematics (Gerbers and FAB & ASY drawings, and other relevant documentation) Ensure design and manufacturing practices adhere to industry standards and regulations Troubleshoot and resolve PCB design and layout issues Contribute to PCB/PCBA design reviews by providing design artifacts, DFM/DFA/DFT assessments and similar value-added info Collaborate in defining PCB development process improvements (procedures and checklists) Collaborate with cross-functional teams of mechanical, electrical, firmware and software engineers to ensure design requirements are met Check the quality of work of other layout resources, including internal and external resources Support and mentor internal layout resources (junior engineers and technicians) on PCB design (library and layout) best practices
