About The Position

One of our direct client is urgently looking for an PCB Design Engineer @ Boston, MA. This is a 6 to 12+ Months contract role with a DOE rate.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years related experience in PCB design.
• Strong knowledge of PADS and Cadence Design tools.
• Analog and digital layout design experience.
• Knowledge of product compliance and testing - EMI/EMC, Product Safety and Environmental Conformance.
• Familiarity with laying out PCBs to meet EMI.
• Solid knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of IPC and JEDEC design, Fabrication and Assembly specifications.
• Minimum of 2-year technical degree with appropriate relative experience.

Nice To Haves

• Power electronics design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to design PCB layout to meet technical expectations and Quality goals with respect to Supply Chains constraints.
• Drive to achieve autonomous with assignments and create independently with less supervision.
• Manage all aspect of the layout and keep deadlines.
