About The Position

The Aerospace and Defense (ADEF) business is focused on Data-Converters, Radio Frequency (RF), and Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS). This role involves designing complex hi-frequency PCBs with a wide variety of component types, with an emphasis on RF signal requirements and board fabrication technologies. The ideal candidate will work with a wide variety of engineering disciplines and conduct peer and design reviews.

Requirements

Proficient with Cadence Allegro. Experience with other CAD tools is a plus.
3+ years’ experience preferred.
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent desired
PCB design skills including RF and mixed signal/material/technology
PCB fabrication process knowledge
Working knowledge of IPC standards
Strong organizational skills, technical curiosity, and desire to work in fasted paced team environment.
Knowledge of JIRA agile management system is a plus
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required

Responsibilities

PCB layout and extensive knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes and how to address problems as they arise with FAB and assembly houses.
Work with a wide variety of engineering disciplines to layout complex hi frequency PCB.
Conduct peer and design reviews for PCB designs completed within the group as a participant.
Participate in a ticket system for assigning jobs and reporting job status to the engineering community.
Design dense and complex PCBs with a wide variety of component types, emphasis on RF signal requirements, and board fabrication technologies.
