About The Position
PCA/CNA / MALE CAREGIVERS WELCOME – Mandatory Every Other Weekend (Midlothian, Petersburg, Richmond, VA). This role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), providing companionship, assisting with meal preparation, performing light housekeeping, medication reminders, accompanying clients to appointments, monitoring client condition, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Must be available to work every other weekend.
- Male caregivers are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Dressing and toileting.
- Mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties: Laundry, Cleaning, Organizing, Straighten client area.
- Help with medication reminders (no administration unless authorized).
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands (if required).
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate documentation and time records (EVV if applicable).
