PCA / CNA / Caregiver - Assisted Living
About The Position
Spring Arbor Senior Living is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, PCAs & HHAs near Frederick, MD. This role involves providing hands-on resident care under the supervision of the Resident Services Director in Memory Care and/or Ensemble neighborhoods, helping create a warm, safe, and positive environment for residents. Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related health care experience
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening
- Willingness to complete dementia care training (for Ensemble Program communities)
- Ability to comply with our Drug-Free Workplace policy
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and coworkers in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Assist residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care
- Maintain accurate resident service plans and document care provided
- Communicate daily with the care team to ensure continuity of care
- Help maintain a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors
- Support programming and day-to-day operations of the neighborhood
- Additional duties as assigned
