About The Position

Spring Arbor Senior Living is hiring immediately for Caregivers, CNAs, PCAs & HHAs near Frederick, MD. They are building a team that feels like family and offering a chance to make a real difference in residents' lives every day. As a Resident Assistant, you will provide hands-on resident care under the supervision of the Resident Services Director in Memory Care and/or Ensemble neighborhoods, helping create a warm, safe, and positive environment for residents.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related health care experience
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to complete dementia care training (for Ensemble Program communities)
• Ability to comply with our Drug-Free Workplace policy

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and coworkers in a friendly, service-oriented manner
• Assist residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care
• Maintain accurate resident service plans and document care provided
• Communicate daily with the care team to ensure continuity of care
• Help maintain a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors
• Support programming and day-to-day operations of the neighborhood
• Additional duties as assigned
