Requirements

  • Assists tenants with ADL tasks including housekeeping, personal laundry, bathing, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral care, skin care and hair care and any other needs addressed on the tenant service plan.
  • Provides support to tenants with their ambulation, positioning and range of motion. Monitors ambulation and transfer techniques for appropriateness and safety.
  • Assists with phone calls and hearing/vision adaptive devices.
  • Records and reports changes in the tenant’s physical and/or cognitive/emotional status to the Building Manager and/or Executive Director of Community Living Services in a timely manner.
  • Answers tenant call signals in a timely manner and provides assistance as necessary.
  • Assists with safe administration of medications including the monitoring of medication supplies. Follows procedure for accurate and timely documentation for medication administration.
  • Conducts room checks and performs rounds based on assigned schedule.
  • Escorts tenants to activities, dining area, beauty shop, etc. on an as needed basis.
  • Completes all assigned documentation accurately using approved abbreviations and descriptive terms
