About The Position

Haven Personal Care Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to provide care and support to clients who are elderly, injured, disabled, or recovering from illness. The role supports clients’ dignity and independence in daily life and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for clients and their families. Work assignments are discussed upon hire, and hours vary based on client needs. The position is available full-time or part-time, with compensation of $16–$17 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Pay is weekly, with direct deposit or cash card options.

Requirements

Authorization to work in the United States.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of caregiving experience, professional or personal, such as assisting a child or adult family member.
Flexible availability to work day shifts, including short and irregular hours as needed.
Patient, friendly, and motivated to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility support, according to each client’s care plan.
Encourage clients to participate in their own care and maintain independence.
Prepare and serve meals while supporting proper nutrition, hydration, and dietary preferences.
Monitor and document clients’ condition, eating habits, and emotional well-being, and report significant changes to the supervisor.
Encourage social engagement, including participation in activities and interaction with others.
Maintain accurate daily records of care provided, observations, and incidents in accordance with company policy.
Perform light housekeeping to keep the client’s environment clean, safe, and organized.
Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies according to established procedures.
