Requirements

  • Valid Canadian ATPL (issued by Transport Canada).
  • A minimum of 2000 hours of flight experience.
  • A minimum of 500 hours of experience as a Pilot-In-Command (PIC).
  • Valid Group 1 IFR rating.
  • Valid Category 1 Medical.
  • Valid Canadian Passport or ability to work in Canada and unrestricted ability to travel to the USA.
  • A satisfactory criminal record check and immunization record with required vaccinations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior PC12, EMS, and/or Northern Ontario flight experience would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of aircraft operation including crew and passenger safety.
  • Must be able to fly in varying conditions, handle pressure well and be flexible and adaptable.
  • Responsible for following all applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Aviation personnel may be required to provide flight support at bases other than the home base where demand arises.
  • All Ornge pilots are required to complete the company’s training program and have successfully pass a PPC/IFT check conducted by a Transport Canada Inspector or Approved Check Pilot.
