About The Position

This role is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products. The PC Technician will perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end-users, recommending and implementing corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed. This position also involves organizing, developing, and maintaining an inventory of all peripheral equipment and responding to incoming calls, pages, and/or emails regarding PC and/or hardware problems with a positive attitude. The role requires compliance with all applicable banking acts, laws, and regulations, and completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and other maintenance procedures as directed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience in an IT support role.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity and the ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment including copy machine, telephone, scanner or other basic business equipment.
  • Driver’s License and travel required as needed.
  • Periodically required to perform manual work, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in information technology or related.
  • Experience supporting an I.T. help desk in a Microsoft-domain environment.
  • CompTIA A+ and/or Microsoft MTA Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners and other peripheral equipment.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems with a positive attitude.
  • Perform all job duties and maintain compliance with all banking acts, laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly and other maintenance procedures as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
