About The Position

We are seeking a PC Technician Support professional to assist with a large-scale computer refresh project. The role involves replacing approximately 90 computers that are not compatible with Windows 11. This position requires a strong understanding of basic networking concepts, including IP addresses, and familiarity with Active Directory for machine joining. A significant sense of urgency and the ability to handle complexities within the deployment process are essential. The technician will be expected to replace at least 5 computers per week.

Requirements

• Knowledge of what an IP Address is and basic networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Active Directory basics for joining machines.
• A+ Certification background is preferred.
• Significant sense of urgency.
• Ability to replace at least 5 computers per week.
• Experience with desktop support.
• Proficiency in Windows 10.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hardware.
• Experience with technical support.
• Experience with imaging and deployment.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with support.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Experience with printers.

Nice To Haves

• CCNA certification is not required, but networking basics are essential.
• Experience using ConnectWise Automate.

Responsibilities

• Replace approximately 90 computers that are not Windows 11 compatible.
• Understand and apply basic networking concepts, including IP addresses.
• Utilize Active Directory basics to join machines to the domain.
• Perform computer hardware troubleshooting and deployment.
• Manage and utilize ticketing systems for support.
• Install and manage agents using ConnectWise Automate.
• Occasional off-hours work may be required.
