About The Position

The PC Hardware Refresh Technician will support a large-scale technology refresh initiative for our customer. This role is responsible for the deployment, replacement, and configuration of end-user computing equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and administrative operations. The technician will work closely with IT teams and end users to deliver high-quality, on-time hardware refresh services in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware refresh activities including removal and replacement of desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, and related equipment
Install and configure hardware according to Sonora Quest and client IT standards
Assist with basic software setup, imaging, data migration, and user profile verification
Ensure proper connectivity to network, printers, and required applications post-refresh
Provide on-site support and basic troubleshooting during and after deployments
Communicate clearly and professionally with end users, clinical staff, and IT teams
Accurately document work completed, asset tags, serial numbers, and deployment status
Follow all security, HIPAA, and safety procedures while working in a healthcare environment
Properly package, label, and prepare decommissioned equipment for return or disposal
Escalate issues or delays to project leads as needed
