Provides technical support for casino, resort and business computer systems. This role involves providing technical support for computer hardware and software by answering incoming help desk phone calls, providing personal service to computer users, installing PC hardware and software, configuring PC workstations and troubleshooting system failures. The technician will also ensure database uptime and help maintain the disaster recovery strategy by monitoring daily backups and casino-related computer systems, changing daily tapes and noting appropriate log entries. Additionally, the role assists the IT Operations Manager by administering production services and completing special projects as assigned.
