About The Position

Lumicera is adding an Analyst, Contract Operations to support and optimize its pharmaceutical manufacturer discount and contracting programs. The role is suited to a data-driven professional with experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), managed care, pharmaceutical contracting, or healthcare analytics. It requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of pharmacy claims and manufacturer contracting, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable business insights. The analyst supports contract compliance with pharmaceutical manufacturers and third-party entities, contract optimization, reconciliation and reporting, sales and RFP support, audits, and client operations. The role also supports client-specific contract reporting and financial guarantees, contract forecasting, government-related or regulated reporting, and the setup and maintenance of contract parameters and payment allocations. The position is remote and is available only to residents of the states listed in the posting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Three to five years of managed care, pharmacy benefit management, or pharmaceutical experience required.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy technician license preferred.
Pharmacy technician, trade, Industry Relations, and/or analytical experience preferred.
Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts, rebate or discount programs, contract invoicing and reconciliation, or industry relations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
Knowledge of formulary management, pharmacy claims, manufacturer contracting, and PBM financial arrangements.
Experience supporting audits, regulatory reporting, financial guarantees, pricing analysis, forecasting, or RFP responses.

Responsibilities

Understand plan formulary design and contracting opportunities for client-specific setups.
Analyze claims data to verify contract processing and direct pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts, and recommend contract optimization to clients.
Provide sales and RFP support for prospective clients, client renewals, and market checks; work with Finance and Underwriting to evaluate contracts and manage pricing risk.
Support contract review, data entry, evaluation, and reconciliation of client contract financial guarantees.
Understand department and customer business needs and deliver information to support decision-making.
Serve as a direct contact for Lumicera Client Services and attend client calls as needed about client-specific contract reporting, guarantee questions, and data analysis.
Coordinate with Analytics to maintain Lumicera contract reporting environments; help manage new contract program initiatives and expand contract forecasting.
Represent Lumicera and serve as a subject matter expert for internal, external, manufacturer, client, and regulatory program audits.
Lead and coordinate government-related or regulated reporting for internal and client requirements.
Review discount strategy and pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts, set up and maintain parameters in the contract processing system, and correctly allocate payments.
