The Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for all timely and accurate processing of multi-state payroll tax-related activities including customer service support. Requirements

Typically 1+ years of experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
Fundamental Payroll Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborates with internal colleagues to resolve customer inquiries
Provides administrative support with case inquiries and follow up
Resolves low complexity, high volume tasks related to workflow, as assigned
Communicates internally with colleagues via client cases and email
Ability to navigate within Salesforce to document customer inquiries and resolution
Processes various data entry related tasks within the Payroll Tax organization such as payments, reports, check requests, registrations, and filings
