About The Position

As a Payroll Tax Filing Analyst, you will support the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of payroll tax operations across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. This is a 3-month temporary position hired through our 3rd party recruiting partner. Contract roles have the potential to move to full time depending on business need and overall personal performance.

Requirements

• Must be located near The Woodlands, TX and have the ability to come into the office at least 3 days per week.
• 2–5+ years in payroll tax filing, compliance, or related operations
• Experience in payroll tax filing in a high volume environment
• Exposure to multi-jurisdiction payroll tax environments
• Experience with platforms such as APTM, MasterTax, ADP SmartCompliance or similar
• Strong Excel skills (data validation, reconciliation, formulas)
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify discrepancies
• Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Familiarity with tax forms, deposits, and agency processes
• Ability to interpret regulatory guidance and apply it to operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads with tight deadlines
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
• Clear communication skills in a client-facing environment
• Must have current and future work authorization in the country where you're applying, without the need for visa sponsorship by Strada.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
• Experience in shared services or high-volume processing environments

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume payroll tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
• Validate and reconcile tax data prior to submission
• Identify discrepancies and partner with internal teams to resolve issues
