Trulieve, a leading emerging company in the cannabis industry, is looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to fill a key role within the payroll team. This position is hybrid with significant remote work with possible travel to our corporate office. Candidate will report to the Director of Payroll. The Payroll Tax Analyst is responsible for ensuring the Company’s ongoing compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. This role involves managing relationships with tax processing vendors to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The Analyst is responsible for independently analyzing, researching, resolving issues, and addressing related tax inquiries. They will specialize in payroll regulatory compliance across all states in which employees reside. Which includes working with partners in Accounting, Human Resources, Third Party Vendors, and other internal departments on various initiatives. This role is both hands on and strategic, so the ability to work across both ends of the range is crucial.
