About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Tax Analyst to join a dynamic and fast-paced corporate payroll team. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong expertise in multi-state payroll tax compliance, audits, and payroll systems.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in payroll (tax-focused)
Strong experience with multi-state payroll environments
Hands-on experience with payroll systems (preferably ADP)
Knowledge of Payroll tax calculations
Knowledge of Garnishments
Knowledge of Salary prorations & overpayment recovery
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree
CPP or FPC Certification
Experience with ADP Vantage Payroll & Time Platform

Responsibilities

Managed payroll tax processing and ensured compliance across multi-state jurisdictions
Handled employee inquiries related to payroll taxes, withholdings, and HR policies
Performed payroll tax reconciliations, audits, and variance analysis
Investigated discrepancies across payroll systems (ADP Vantage, SmartCompliance, etc.)
Reviewed and resolved tax notices and compliance issues
Audited W-2s and ensured accuracy against payroll records
Supported quarterly and year-end tax processes, including amendments (W-2c)
Collaborated with internal teams and external agencies to resolve tax-related issues
Maintained SLAs for employee cases and payroll operations
