About The Position

Responsible for accurately processing Lifeworks payroll and completing related administrative and compliance tasks, ensuring timely and error-free payroll operations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of payroll and payroll tax experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience totaling at least 5 years.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and experience with 10-key data entry.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret financial databases effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Paylocity or similar payroll systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Processing payroll for designated employee groups with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculating and applying appropriate withholding taxes.
  • Reconciling payroll transactions to ensure accuracy across assigned groups.
  • Setting up and maintaining employee payroll records, including deductions and updates.
  • Collaborating across departments to support consistent, reliable, and efficient payroll practices.
  • Assisting with benefit deductions and enrollment processes.
  • Responding to employment verification requests in a timely manner.
  • Staying current on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Providing high-quality customer service for all payroll-related inquiries.
  • Setting clear performance goals and actively pursuing opportunities to enhance skills and effectiveness.
