As a Payroll Specialist, a typical day will include the following responsibilities/duties: Responsible for Multi-state payroll processing with strong Deltek Costpoint and UKG experience.
Requirements
- Deltek Costpoint experience
- 2+ years experience with processing payroll
- The ability to multi-task
- Discretion handling confidential information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently completing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of Federal/state tax laws and withholdings
- BA/BS degree
- 2+ years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with UKG (Ultipro) system
- Microsoft Word/Excel
Responsibilities
- Review Timesheets
- Post Labor
- Process Payroll
- Entering salary changes, new hires and terminations
- Perform maintenance on system to include setting up contract work forces, employee records, etc.
- Conduct briefings for employee and supervisors
- Assist with audits when needed
- Respond to employees questions
