About The Position

Glenaire is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) seeking a Payroll Specialist with a mission to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those they serve. The company currently uses PayCor and will be transitioning to UKG in early 2027.

Requirements

  • Payroll experience in a mid-sized business.
  • PayCor experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UKG (transitioning in early 2027).

Responsibilities

  • Performs payroll recording and payment functions on a bi-weekly schedule.
  • Processes payroll records for all team members.
  • Monitors timesheets weekly, or daily if necessary, to communicate errors to Department Directors.
  • Keeps records and monitors employee leave time (PAL).
  • Maintains Payroll program information daily for time worked.
  • Communicates with Department Directors concerning payroll matters (e.g., overtime, missed punches, tardiness, absences).
  • Distributes payroll checks and responds to team member questions.
  • Responds to agency requests for payroll information and processes documentation for payroll deductions.
  • Participates in monthly new team member orientation and personnel in-service.
  • Monitors benefits and audits.
  • Processes Glenaire Foundation contributions and other checks.
  • Receives and records Foundation contributions.
  • Receives and records, using Salesforce program, all contributions.
  • Prepares bank statements for deposit and assists AR Clerk by depositing funds from residents and other fees.
  • Tracks community benefit functions and assists in publishing an employee newsletter.
  • Participates in budget development and monitoring.
  • Maintains Imprest Account, writes checks on account, and processes requests for reimbursement.
  • Maintains Resident Trust Fund to cover liabilities and receive Social Security funds.
  • Responds to vendors regarding outstanding invoices.
  • Maintains Petty Cash Fund, distributing requested monies and processing requests for reimbursement.
