About The Position

America’s Home Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting our home care staff with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems and payroll-related needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in home care payroll, and the ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within the home care or healthcare industry
  • Hands-on experience with EVV systems and home care compliance requirements
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in payroll software
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist with payroll for home care staff with a high level of accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist the Director with billing-related functions, including reinvoicing, reviewing discrepancies, and resolving issues
  • Monitor, review, and manage EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) reports, ensuring all visits are properly recorded
  • Support staff with EVV usage, including clocking in and out, troubleshooting issues, and providing training as needed
  • Proactively reach out to caregivers and staff to ensure compliance with EVV requirements
  • Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner, including but not limited to: Requests for tax documents (W-2s, etc.), Login and system access assistance, Onboarding setup and support
  • Maintain accurate payroll and employee records in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and payroll processes
