About The Position

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for weekly review of electronic timesheet as well as bi-weekly processing of payroll for an agency of 2500+ employees. Additionally, this individual is responsible for answering employee questions, troubleshooting issues, and other payroll related duties. Requirements

Knowledge of automated payroll procedures
Intermediate Excel Skills
Microsoft Office experience
2+ years payroll or related experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with Datis HR Cloud a plus

Responsibilities

Process information for new hires, terminations and status changes.
Review and process batches for bi-weekly payroll. Generate manual pay checks as needed.
Process pay changes, pay adjustments, as well as calculate retroactive payments.
Maintain confidentiality.
Maintain payroll records and files.
Team builder, supporter, and player with integrity and loyalty. Dedication to serving the organization’s goals and mission.
Maintain acceptable attendance record.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
