Summary/Objective The Payroll Specialist provides administrative and operational support primarily for payroll and other accounting-related functions. The payroll specialist will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for over approximately 100 associates at multiple sites, including managing the piece rate calculations and billing. This position will also support creating and maintaining site KPI’s through creating charts in Microsoft Excel. Also, this position will support various accounting functions, answering daily payroll questions, and providing excellent customer service. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Normal hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required as needed including evenings and weekends. Essential Functions Serves as the primary resource for the weekly processing of all associate payroll at multiple locations Understanding of the pay/bill process Understanding of how the pay/bill process interacts with Bullhorn Handles daily payroll with branch personnel and associates Assists with general accounting duties Assist in maintaining site KPIs Creates standard operating procedures for payroll and essential back office functions Position will also assist in site Bullhorn functions such as Job Placement & Placement Approvals, Job Creation and Job Transfers Competencies Customer/Client Focus Communication Proficiency Detailed oriented Flexibility Technical Capacity Organizational Skills Initiative Problem Solving/Analysis Teamwork Thoroughness Required Competencies for all MAU Staff Ethical Conduct Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
