About The Position

Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric, the largest residential HVAC contractor in North America, is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented Payroll & Operations Data Specialist to support payroll processing for our HVAC service team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate calculation of technician pay—including piecework and production-based compensation—while pulling and analyzing data from our CRM and AS400 systems. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting)
  • High level of accuracy and comfort working with numbers and calculations
  • Experience working with payroll data or compensation structures preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and/or AS400 is a plus
  • Ability to interpret service tickets and production data for pay calculation
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC or other skilled trades environments
  • Familiarity with piecework, commission, or performance-based pay structures for field technicians

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll data for HVAC field technicians, including accurate calculation of piecework and production-based pay
  • Extract and compile payroll-related data from CRM and AS400 systems
  • Use Microsoft Excel to perform calculations, reconcile discrepancies, and generate payroll and performance reports
  • Review service tickets, job data, and technician outputs to ensure proper pay calculations
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation data
  • Prepare regular reports on labor costs, technician productivity, and payroll accuracy
  • Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure accurate data flow for payroll processing
