We are seeking a Payroll Sales Solution Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a high-volume, phone-driven, referral-based environment, enjoys closing deals, and is confident persuading business owners through a streamlined sales process.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 months of related B2B preferably in payroll.
  • Comfortable with being on video camera while engaging with clients/customers, attending company/department meetings, etc. as required.
  • Experience in business development/lead generation, business consulting, sales and marketing preferred.
  • Excellent professional oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in payroll sales, HCM sales, or related B2B SaaS sales.
  • Strong persuasion and closing skills, particularly in fast-moving sales cycles.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of small to mid-sized business opportunities.
  • Ability to clearly explain pricing and value to business owners.
  • Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus or may be required based on company needs.
  • College degree preferred but not required; relevant sales experience is more important.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients to expand our clientele and build our business.
  • Prepare the client proposals using pricing within set guidelines.
  • Commit to departmental and individual quotas/goals.
  • Manage and close inbound and internal payroll referrals using a consultative, sales-first approach.
  • Conduct discovery conversations with business owners and decision-makers to assess payroll and HR needs.
  • Present and close payroll solutions using instant quoting and simplified pricing models.
  • Own the sales process from initial contact through closing and handoff.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline and meet volume-based production goals.
  • Engage in frequent daily client conversations in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional Newtek solutions, including banking, lending, insurance, payments, and benefits.
  • Collaborate closely with internal relationship managers and partners to support overall client growth.
