Under the supervision of the Payroll Benefits and HCM Director, the Payroll Manager manages the day-to-day operations for US based payroll processing. The Payroll Manager is responsible for configuring and maintaining the payroll and related areas within the HRIS/HCM system or existing companies while adhering to federal and state compliance regulations. This position creates and manages payroll related processes for payroll implementations and/or new functionality. The role ensures absence and time tracking configuration aligns with business needs by leading testing efforts with the sites and is designated as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for these areas, providing payroll teams with alternative solutions if available. This role is also responsible for accurate and timely new hire reporting, ensures all payroll state and local tax registrations are complete and accurate with the applicable agencies, accounts numbers and rates in the payroll system, and user access is established where applicable.
