About The Position
A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a full-time, remote Payroll Manager to join their team! This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while driving operational excellence, process improvement, audit readiness, and payroll transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of payroll leadership experience with direct responsibility for end-to-end payroll operations
- Managed complex multi-state, multi-site payrolls for organizations
- Led payroll teams, developed staff, and managed performance
- Strong expertise in payroll compliance, audits, tax reporting, garnishments, W-2 processing, and payroll controls
- Experience with enterprise payroll systems, preferably UKG systems
- Experience partnering closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, Benefits, and HRIS/IT stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Managed complex multi-state, multi-site payrolls for organizations is very desirable
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
