About The Position

The Payroll Liaison will maintain employee data as well as assist in preparing and completing bi-weekly timeclock data. QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services. QSAC pursues this mission through direct services that provide a supportive and individualized setting for children and adults with autism to improve their communication, socialization, academic, and functional skills.

Requirements

  • Intermediate MS Excel experience is required
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment required
  • Writing proficiency and attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with flexibility is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree highly preferred
  • Administrative experience is preferred
  • HRIS and time clock system experience is strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years payroll processing experience preferred
  • Quick learner with ability to follow directions is essential
  • Strong computation aptitude preferred
  • Experience working on a high-volume payroll is highly preferred
  • UKG/Kronos Software experience a plus
  • Kronos/WFO experience preferred
  • Dependability and flexibility is expected

Responsibilities

  • Assist with timeclock coordination/approval and serve as a Kronos/WFO (timeclock) liaison
  • Check daily time entries for missing punches, errors, or unusual entries
  • Respond to and resolve timeclock inquiries/issues and keep accurate records of timesheet data
  • Review daily attendance reports to identify potential issues and correct discrepancies
  • Process and reconcile payroll adjustments and timesheets
  • Perform quality checks of high volume data input into timeclock
  • Run and distribute timeclock reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management
