We are actively looking for a Payroll Coordinator (Entry Level) to join our Bogota office. As part of the Accounting Group, the Payroll Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for payroll processing across Latin America, assisting with accurate and timely payroll activities under close supervision. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • 1- 3 years of relevant experience (internships acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of payroll principles; exposure to Latin American payroll
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines across multiple payroll cycles
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual – English/ Spanish or Portuguese
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are required to support collaboration across international teams. Please note: An English language assessment will be conducted as part of the interview process.
  • Works independently on well-defined payroll tasks across multiple countries.
  • Handles moderately complex payroll issues within established guidelines.
  • Contributes to regional payroll operations and team efficiency
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Responsibilities

  • Support payroll data preparation for multiple Latin America countries (e.g., Colombia and other regional offices)
  • Enter and maintain employee payroll records (new hires, changes, terminations)
  • Assist with timekeeping reviews and escalate discrepancies
  • Generate standard payroll reports and maintain payroll documentation
  • Ensure data accuracy in line with internal procedures and local country requirements
  • Respond to basic payroll inquiries and escalate more complex issues
  • Support audit requests by gathering payroll records
