About The Position

This is a part-time Payroll Clerk position focused on payroll administration for all plant employees. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Responsibilities include managing timecards, tracking leave, resolving discrepancies, maintaining records, and generating reports. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll practices and wage laws, excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll systems, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality are essential.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all plant employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage and audit hourly timecards, attendance records, and pay adjustments.
  • Track and administer employee time off, including vacation, sick leave, FMLA, and other leave programs.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, responding to employee payroll-related inquiries.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of all employee information.
  • Generate payroll-related reports, including headcount, overtime, and labor metrics.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record retention for payroll and compliance purposes.
