About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll & Benefits Administrator (Part-Time) to support payroll, benefits administration, and HR operations at our plastics manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll or HR professional who enjoys working with employees, managing confidential information, and ensuring accurate payroll and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll, benefits administration, HR administration, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Review employee time and attendance records, overtime, and payroll adjustments.
  • Administer payroll deductions including garnishments, child support, and tax levies.
  • Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate payroll reports and support audits and year-end payroll activities.
  • Administer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) programs.
  • Process enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and employee eligibility records.
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Maintain personnel, payroll, and benefits records.
  • Support onboarding and new hire administration.
  • Prepare employment verifications and HR reports.
  • Assist with compliance activities, audits, and HR projects.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
