About The Position

We are happy to announce a full-time Payroll Assistant position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact FrankCrum business everyday by performing E-Verify, keying employee data and assisting with basic payrolls.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and processes 15+ basic level payrolls per day Monday – Thursday within established deadlines.
  • Handles a permanent processing schedule of 45-55 clients while assisting other team members process payrolls as needed.
  • Reviews all client payroll and billing information for accuracy.
  • Reviews client payrolls for compliance with DOL, FLSA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Communicates totals and other payroll related information to clients.
  • Compiles reports for clients as requested.
  • Researches and resolves payroll and billing discrepancies.
  • Maintains electronic client folders and files.
  • Reviews new employee paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information accurately in the payroll system, which may include new hires, employee rate changes, payroll deductions, address changes, tax updates and other information relating to payroll.
  • Assists clients with payroll related inquiries.
  • Assists other team members process employee maintenance and new hires as needed.
  • Performs basic payroll audits.
  • Monitors email, voicemail, and payroll queue.
  • Ensures proper FrankCrum policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Answers phones, scans, files, etc.
  • Adheres to established work schedule and requests PTO in a responsible manner.
  • Supports other Payroll Coordinators during planned and unplanned absences.
