The Payroll & HRIS Analyst is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant administration of payroll while serving as the functional expert for HR information systems. This role manages end-to-end payroll operations, including payroll processing, audits, employee data validation, tax compliance, reconciliations, issue resolution, and payroll-related accounting support, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on schedule while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. In addition, the Payroll & HRIS Analyst serves as the primary functional lead for Workday HRIS administration and optimization. Responsibilities include system configuration, business process management, integrations, reporting and analytics, testing, troubleshooting, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to enhance system functionality, improve operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure the integrity and effectiveness of HR technology solutions.
