Canopy Children’s Solutions is a Mississippi nonprofit provider of children’s behavioral health, educational, and family support services. The Spring 2027 Payroll and Benefits Internship gives students an opportunity to join the team and learn how the organization supports its mission. The posting describes experience in accounting best practices in the nonprofit sector, including processing accounts payable transactions, reconciling accounts, processing vendor invoices, and handling employee reimbursements. Interns will work with a team committed to the Canopy mission. Interns must attend a mandatory orientation and training session at the beginning of the internship, wear business professional or clinical attire, and commit to at least 100 hours unless the academic contract states otherwise. Students must satisfactorily complete goals set by college or university affiliates and their assigned site supervisor. The internship requires an established contract with an academic institution.
