Partner with cross-functional teams on payroll related projects to define payroll process and recommend improvements. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Assist Senior Payroll Analyst with monthly cash forecast, auditing stock payroll and year-end duties as needed Audit payroll related queries and reports on a periodic basis to be sure data is accurate, timely, and compliant. Identify and recommend payroll process improvements across all business groups Partners with Senior Payroll Analyst to prepare materials for external or internal auditors Provide support for payroll processors including researching issues, supporting processes and procedures and reconciling data Research, analyze and resolve payroll issues including reconciliations, overpayments, taxation and adjustments with federal, state or local governments Respond to questions regarding taxes, garnishments and payroll withholding procedures Responsible for maintaining, reviewing and responding to inquiries from internal and external customers within established SLA’s and quality measures Responsible for payroll tax filing and reconciliation processes on a periodic, quarterly and annual basis Responsible for registering Amcor companies with tax agencies/localities.
