About The Position

The Payroll Analyst will assist with the processing and coordination of all aspects of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for over 3,000 employees in the US & Canada. Responsibilities will include: Processing weekly & bi-weekly payroll, reports, reconciliations, year-end procedures and W-2’s for multi-state employees. Ensuring the accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary deductions as well as garnishments, liens, direct deposit requests, 401K loans, etc. Responding to inquiries and verifications for unemployment and other payroll-related data. Maintaining related records, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management. Ensuring legal compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration. Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll. Processing weekly, bi-weekly, special compensation, commission, and bonus checks with the highest standard of accuracy and timeliness. Counseling and resolving employee payroll issues. Ability to create and analyze reports on an as needed basis. Keeping current in trends and regulations as they relate to the payroll function. Performing other special projects or duties when required.

Requirements

  • BA degree
  • Minimum 7 years of direct payroll experience
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Computer literacy to include MS Office products as well as payroll software
  • Excellent communications and customer services skills.
  • Ability to interface well with a variety of employees at all levels under deadline pressure required.
