About The Position

This is a temporary role for a Payroll Analyst. The position involves supporting various payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include wage garnishment administration, employment verification, managing employee address changes, and performing payroll audits and reconciliations. The role also supports payroll-related projects, system testing, and collaborates with other departments to improve payroll processes. Additional payroll and administrative duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, and data analysis.
Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and multi-state payroll practices.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee and payroll information.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state, multi-location organization.
Experience performing payroll reconciliations, audits, and issue resolution required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Dayforce payroll software strongly preferred.
Experience supporting payroll-related projects, system implementations, process improvements, or data validation efforts preferred.
Dayforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Assist with wage garnishment administration, including responding to inquiries and uploading files for payroll processing.
Manage employment verification requests and route documentation to the appropriate departments.
Monitor employee address changes in Dayforce and maintain jurisdiction tracking records as needed.
Perform payroll audits and maintain payroll reconciliation spreadsheets on a weekly basis.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
Support payroll-related special projects, including data audits, process documentation, system testing, reporting, compliance reviews, and year-end activities.
Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to support payroll initiatives and process improvements.
Perform additional payroll and administrative duties as assigned.
