The payroll department is responsible for processing Global Payroll across all countries, including reporting and paying any taxes and ancillary obligations as required. This includes but is not limited to: Salaries, Bonuses, Equity (restricted stock and other types), Commissions, Taxable Fringe Benefits, Proxy Air Fringe, Deferred Compensation Payments and deductions, ESIP, 401K and other international pension contributions etc. A Payroll Analyst is responsible for the efficient processing and administration of payroll data, ensuring accurate compensation of employees and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves maintaining payroll records, calculating employee pay, reconciling hours worked, and compiling payroll statistics. Additionally, the Payroll Analyst conducts audits of payroll data, prepares payroll-related journal entries, and interacts with business partners and third-party vendors. They also handle various payroll-related tasks such as processing new hires, tax forms, leaves, garnishments, transfers, pension plans, benefits, terminations, and other related documents.
