About The Position

Vantor is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team. In this role, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large, multi-company, multi-state and global workforce of about 2,000 employees. This role is responsible for payroll data validation, payroll processing support, compliance activities, audits, reporting and employee support while ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable federal, state, local and international payroll regulations. We are willing to consider candidates early in their career if they can demonstrate qualifications that we desire.

Requirements

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Two years of experience may be substituted for a degree
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication and customer service skill
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
Strong work ethic and team player
Organization skills

Responsibilities

Support bi-weekly, monthly and off-cycle payroll processing for U.S. multi-state employees and international payroll populations utilizing external payroll provider system.
Review payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, equity transactions, and employee deductions.
Validate payroll inputs and outputs to ensure payroll accuracy and completeness before processing.
Assist with payroll reconciliations and resolution of payroll discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations.
Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, direct deposit, etc.
Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance to resolve payroll-related issues.
Provide excellent customer services while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
