About The Position

This is a Payroll Admin 3 - Hybrid Role. The primary duties involve assisting in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for up to 33 company codes. This includes preparing, documenting, and disbursing payroll checks, calculating gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, FLSA Overtime calculations, etc.). The role also requires maintaining payroll-specific records, reconciling data, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Additionally, the position assists with the preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting and resolves payroll/tax reporting issues. It also supports year-end reconciliation of payroll reporting, workers comp reporting, and 401k reconciliation. The role provides guidance to plant HR leaders and Finance staff, answering questions regarding payroll matters. Project work includes compliance reporting, tax reporting, and garnishment processing.

Requirements

  • ADP experience a must, Workforce Now or Vantage preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Time & Attendance, or eTime.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Teams and Excel.
  • Must understand intermediate level formulas and have the ability to maintain spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines while processing and reconciling multiple payrolls concertedly.
  • High regard for cross-functional excellence and integrity in a client service capacity.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • 4-6 years payroll experience.
  • Multi-state payroll experience highly desired.
  • Tax experience including state and local registrations, tax amendments and W2c experience.
  • Applicants must reside in: Washington ONLY.
  • Applicants must reside within 1 driving hour of: Auburn WA, Kent, WA, Woodinville, WA.

Nice To Haves

  • Canadian payroll processing or international payroll experience a plus.
  • CPP or FPC Certifications a plus.
