Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Processing Payroll
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can read construction contracts
  • All employees hired must pass a pre-employment drug test, have a valid driver's license and/or reliable means of transportation, and proof of legal ability to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum software preferred
  • Construction and union payroll experience is preferred
  • Understand Prevailing wage and Davis Bacon

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain their Zendesk tickets and help when needed with others tickets
  • Process all time data entry and review for accuracy and completeness
  • Payroll data entry (employee earnings adjustments, allowances etc)
  • Process payroll end to end and set new cycle
  • Responsible for making decisions regarding employee/branch requests
  • Process and distribute off cycle checks as per company policy
  • Ensure compliance with Federal & multi-state payroll legislation and company policy
  • Maintain employee records as per government regulations
  • Review and file certified payroll reports using multiple platforms (Emars, LCPTracker, WA L&I)
  • Monitor and address employee inquiries from the Payroll Support Helpdesk
