About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across our growing, multi-state organization. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Accounting and People & Culture teams to keep payroll running smoothly for employees across dozens of locations nationwide. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our team members are paid correctly and on time while helping maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably using ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience supporting payroll in a multi-state organization
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while handling confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable collaborating with leaders and employees across multiple departments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Manager or timekeeping systems preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state, multi-location organization using ADP Workforce Now
  • Review payroll data to ensure the accuracy of wages, deductions, and adjustments
  • Audit payroll entries and correct discrepancies as needed
  • Stay current on payroll regulations to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
  • Review non-exempt employee time records within the time and attendance system
  • Ensure time records comply with company policy and labor regulations
  • Validate timecard data and resolve discrepancies with managers and People & Culture
  • Maintain accurate payroll records including manual checks, final pay documentation, and payroll adjustments
  • Prepare and distribute final paychecks in compliance with multi-state legal requirements
  • Process manual checks as requested by leadership, People & Culture, or Accounting
  • Review payroll master files, year-to-date totals, and pay data entries for accuracy
  • Partner with People & Culture and Accounting teams on payroll questions and issues
  • Assist Accounting with quarterly payroll reconciliations
  • Support updates or implementations related to ADP payroll and timekeeping systems
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and discretion
  • Support the Senior Payroll Administrator, Controller, and Director of People & Culture
  • Assist with payroll programs including base pay and bonus administration
  • Contribute to payroll initiatives and special projects as needed
