Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll and accounts receivable experience
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing
  • Knowledge of Paylocity, UKG or other third-party payroll processing software
  • Comfortable with using MSOffice (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly/biweekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours, earnings, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and benefit deductions.
  • Review timesheets for completeness and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll-related documents such as pay stubs, summaries, and year-end forms (W‑2, 1099, etc.).
  • Coordinate with HR and managers on payroll questions, adjustments, and compliance requirements.
  • Generate and send customer invoices based on contracts, service logs, or project milestones.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on past‑due accounts, and document collection activities.
  • Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate aging reports.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AR reporting and revenue reconciliation.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or customer disputes.
  • Maintain accurate financial and payroll documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Support process improvements to streamline payroll and billing workflows.
  • Provide backup support to the accounting team as needed.
