About The Position

Applies accounting principles to analyze pay, fringe benefits, and other financial information to ensure employees are paid accurately. Assists with completing and reporting payroll information, including payroll tax returns, to applicable regulatory agencies under the supervision of departmental leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least one year of accounting experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks, and maintain control of workflow.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Ability to problem-solve payroll discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Focus on analytics and compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance from an accredited college or university.
• Accounting experience in a health care or public accounting setting.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Lawson, and Crystal reporting.
