About The Position

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. Under the supervision of the Contracts Manager, the Payment Posting Specialist manually and/or electronically processes post daily cash receipts to the general and subsidiary ledgers. Duties are in regards to Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. and companies managed by/supported by Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Related experience in administrative support, accounts receivable, cash posting, general ledger activities, and/or order processing preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel spreadsheet applications.
  • Able to learn new computer programs as needed.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be efficient and well organized
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient writing skills with grasp of basic grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the daily cash batch for posting to the general ledger, including properly coding to customer invoices and general ledger accounts.
  • Processes various sales orders and credit memos approved by management team.
  • Keeps the department leads and management informed of any discrepancies in payments.
  • Assists in office operations as requested.
  • Assists in the preparation of contract claims as needed.
  • Ensures that all required documentation is completed/processed appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Always communicate in a respectful manner with all people including the people we support, supervisors, other valued team members, and members of the community.
  • Complies fully with FREE’s confidentiality policies by holding in strictest confidence all information pertaining to members, residents, the people we support and their families, clients, providers, contractors, and employees.
  • Meets all safety training requirements; adheres to all safety policies and reports any and all unsafe conditions; takes measures to prevent accidents and/or eliminate conditions that pose a safety or health risk.
  • Coordinates, supports, attends and participates in all required events/ meetings/ reviews/ committees, including ones outside of standard working hours.
  • Meets all job requirements and stays in compliance.
  • Adheres to FREE’s standard of ethical behavior as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct as well as applicable laws and regulations.
