About the job: Prepare and serve food and beverage items and serve as cashier for The Pavilion concession operations. Perform related preparation and cleaning duties A day in the life: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Greet customers and take orders. Prepare and serve food and beverage items. Serve as cashier including using point of sale system and processing cash and credit transactions. Perform basic food preparation duties. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of concession area, equipment and surrounding areas. Complete opening and closing procedures for concession operations. Assist with inventorying and stocking of products. Provide basic facility and program information to public. Assist with emergency support as directed by others. Acts as a Mandatory Reports; reports incidents of child abuse/neglect. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Strong Knowledge of customer service and basic food service practices.
Strong Knowledge of basic math.
Ability to follow directions and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently while multitasking.
Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and pleasantly with people of all ages and abilities.
Ability to prepare and handle food and beverage items according to established procedures.
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Ability to operate a point of sale station.
Ability to establish and maintain positive, respectful and cooperative working relationships with all contacts.
High school diploma or currently attending school.
Some previous related volunteer or work experience.
Any satisfactory combination of education, experience and training.
Possession of, or ability to obtain within 5 days of hire, a current Oregon Food Handler Card.
