About The Position

EverLine Coatings and Services, a rapidly scaling commercial service brand, is looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Crew Lead to lead our Seattle Location. Our small but rapidly growing team is in need of a critical field training and support function leader to successfully launch and support our growing network. We are looking for a Pavement Maintenance Technician Crew Lead to oversee all staff, maintenance items, and operations of the local business unit. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Crew Lead or similar role from a skilled trade
  • Follows through on commitments and leads by example
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Experienced with using hand and power tools
  • Skilled enough to use the proper tools to troubleshoot broken equipment on jobsites, make repairs, and perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Great leadership skills and management of people
  • Bias to action and isn't afraid to try new things
  • Is thoughtful of others and can help build/execute a training program for Line Stripers/Pavement Maintenance Technicians

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Help design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively, arrive to work on time, and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for ownership
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement with trying new processes and methods
  • Shop maintenance items and inventory replenishment
